Burmese Teak, this name is used to differentiate natural-grown trees from Teak grown on plantations. With its superb stability, good strength properties, easy workability—and most of all, its outstanding resistance to termite, decay and rot

The wood is described as very hard, heavy to very heavy, with a texture that is moderately fine or medium and even.After Teak, is the most important timber in Burma for this class of work, for which it is claimed to be one of the best timber in the world.

Oak is one of the most popular woods used in furniture and flooring. It is highly durable, easy to work with, and looks great stained or with a clear, natural finish.  

Ash is a favorite with furniture and architectural millwork manufacturers. A light-colored species with an open grain and a coarse texture similar to oak, Ash is relatively dense with good working and finishing properties. 

Tabaek has light yellow-brown to grey-white sapwood, sometimes with a pink tinge, merging gradually into the heartwood, which is pale red-brown and darkens on exposure. Its affordability and resistance make it suitable for interior and exterior finishing.

Champaca is soft and even-grained. The sapwood is white; the heartwood is light yellowish-brown to olive-brown.The heartwood of this species is strong, durable. It has light and straight grain; even- and medium-textured growth rings are distinct, being delimited by light lines of terminal parenchyma

Balau has a very fine and even texture is the trademark of a balau timber, and it usually comes in a light red color but this typically depends on the specific group of the wood. Balau is a very popular export and widely used as a slightly cheaper alternative to teak.

Pine is a soft, white or pale yellow wood which is light weight, straight grained and lacks figure. It resists shrinking and swelling. Knotty pine is often used for decorative effect.

The properties of pine make it a popular choice because of its easy cultivation and widespread availability. Pine wood is widely used in high-value carpentry items such as furniture, window frames, panelling, floors, and roofing.
